JOB DESCRIPTION
The Part-Time Research Assistant will report to the Director of the Center for Community Research. The Part-Time Research Assistant will help the Director with tasks as needed on the post-viral grant supported project.
What You'll Do
- Completes Center administrative tasks designated by the director. Trains with the Research Project Coordinator on grants administration.
- Schedules appointments and interviews.
- Administers and conducts interviews with participants.
- Enters data.
- Assists in the writing of manuscripts.
- Participates in weekly research meetings.
- College degree (B.A. or B.S) in Psychology or related field.
- Research experience in Psychology or a related social science field.
- Should have an interest in gaining experience to pursue a higher level of education. Some budgetary experience would be helpful.
- Must be reliable, task-oriented, and self-motivated.
- Must have general computer knowledge and basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (i.e. MS Word, MS Excel, etc.) and SPSS.
- Must be capable of coordinating daily tasks, communicating effectively, and working as directed.
- Must possess strong writing skills.
- This is a grant-funded position and is subject to the availability of grant funding.
