Responsibilities
- Act as a friendly and approachable point of contact for employee inquiries, concerns, and feedback
- Foster positive employee relationships by promoting open communication and conflict resolution
- Manage job board listings and employee hiring alongside the Practice Director and Management Team
- Coordinate seamless onboarding experiences for new hires, making them feel welcome and supported from day one
- Counsel management and staff on HR policies and procedures to establish best practices and create a positive work environment
- Collaborate with Management Team to identify training needs and assist in the development of relevant programs
- Assist with offboarding processes, conducting exit interviews to gather valuable insights for continuous improvement
- Update employee records, record data changes, and maintain good records
- Handle document and information audits, as required
- Maintain a high level of integrity and confidentiality
- SHRM-CP or PHR certification is required
- Familiarity with computer programs, such as Microsoft Office and common HR software including Applicant Tracking Systems
- Deep understanding of HR policies and US labor laws
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, along with a genuine passion for helping others
