DCI/Boasso Global, is seeking a skilled Tank Mechanic to support operations at our Cincinnati, OH terminal.
Essential Functions of the job include (but are not limited to):
- Pressure test tanks, drain and dry out tanks
- Repair and replace tank container valves, gaskets, and gauges
- Operate hoists, cranes, and precision measuring and testing instruments
- Observe and listen to mechanical devices to diagnose causes of mechanical issues
- Repair and replace defective parts, inspect and adjust used parts
- Lubricate and clean parts
- Operate lathe, drill press and grinders
- Use hand tools and power tools
Ideal candidates will possess
- Candidates will possess a mechanical background
- Possess good communication skills (verbal and written)
- Detailed oriented
Required Qualifications:
- Ability to wear a respirator, be comfortable with both heights on top of tanks
- Work in enclosed spaces inside of tanks
