Primary Responsibilities:

Responsibilities
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide academic, behavioral, and personal care support to students with complex learning needs
- Implement instructional strategies and accommodations as directed by the special education teacher and related service providers
- Assist with daily living skills such as feeding, toileting, and hygiene routines, as needed
- Support students in inclusion settings, vocational programs, and community-based instruction
- Promote student independence and social-emotional growth through structured support
- Collect data and document student progress
- Collaborate with classroom teachers, therapists, and families to support individual learning plans
- Assist with behavior intervention plans under the guidance of a BCBA or special education teacher
- High school diploma or equivalent (required); Associate’s degree or passing score on ParaPro Exam required
- Experience working with students with disabilities, especially those with intensive needs
- Ability to lift and physically support students as needed
- Strong communication skills, patience, and a commitment to equity and inclusion
