DeRoyal, delivering high quality medical products and innovative healthcare services, is actively searching for Product Taggers to work with our Continuum Team at HCA hospital locations across the United States. Continuum® is an automated inventory management control system. The ideal candidate will assist the Continuum HCA Tagging Project Team by placing RFID tags on medical devices at various locations and departments within HCA facilities by performing the following duties.
This position will require travel. It could occasionally require travel on weekends or travel for extended periods of time.
SUMMARY
The ideal candidate possesses the ability to be a customer-facing resource who is malleable to the needs of our customer. by being an on-site expert on our inventory encoding system. They should possess the ability to teach, lead, and be an on-site expert on our inventory encoding system, function, and system reports. They will assist the Continuum HCA Tagging Project Team by placing RFID tags on medical devices at various Hospital locations and departments within HCA facilities by performing the following duties.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Ability to instruct client users on how to access and use Web reports, how to operate scanners, and how to tag and encode inventory items.
Assists with assembling equipment, packaging, and palletizing for shipment.
Unpack from pallet, assemble, set-up and configure encoding stations and iPad at customer locations.
Tags and encodes inventory items into the Continuum system at customer locations.
Familiarity with Apple iPads, pairing Bluetooth, and adjusting settings on handheld devices.
Familiarity with connecting computer systems to WiFi networks.
Ability to test and calibrate equipment per the build and testing protocols.
Can effectively communicate with customers, project managers and internal teams in a timely and effective manner. Responds to questions in a timely manner.
Work independently or in a collaborative manner as needed.
Can schedule travel independently that adheres to the project plan.
Attend training sessions. Ability to learn new information, retain, and teach others.
Ability to assess when to contact manager for additional information or instruction.
Read and follow oral and/or written directions.
Conduct operations in accordance with safety requirements.
Work at a consistent pace to ensure a steady flow.
Arrive at work on time and comply with company attendance and tardiness policies.
Possess ability to get along with co-workers, customers and company visitors.
Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor, which may include duties in other departments.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High School Diploma or GED; or less than high school education with three to six months related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos. Ability to recognize similarities and differences between words and between series of numbers. Ability to print and speak simple sentences.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Ability to perform these operations using units of weight, measurement, volume, and distance.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations. Ability to assess when to contact manager for additional information or instruction.

While performing the duties of this job, typical work environment will be in hospital central supply room. Due to the nature of the products being assembled; jewelry, false fingernails and fingernail polish are prohibited. Light make-up can be worn. Smocks, hair nets and beard covers may be required to be worn. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
