ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

- Coordinates the installation and operation of hardware, and software.
- Performs the role of general system maintenance (i.e. updating lab software, printer drivers, etc.).
- Assists with system analysis and procedures to determine system functionality of hardware and software.
- Consults with a variety building end users regarding technology applications.
- Assists with analytical testing and/or modification of computer systems and programs, including documentation of work flow.
- Coordinates repairs with appropriate vendors when unable to make repairs internally.
- Assists in maintaining an accurate and current inventory of all district computer-related technology hardware and software.
- Assists with all of the districts imaging of computers and software.
- Coordinates the adds, moves, and deletion of users on the phone system.
- Ability to supervise and direct student technology interns.
- Assists with other special projects and studies, and other duties as assigned
KNOWLEDGE & SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
Education:
Associate Degree/Technical Training or higher in related field.
Certification:
A certification required or willingness to be trained in this area.
Experience:
Knowledge of the troubleshooting and operation of computer hardware and common software applications such as Microsoft Office; thorough knowledge of methods and techniques used to maintain and repair computer equipment; ability to carry-out maintenance plans and repair schedules for technical resources; knowledge of the ticket tracking application.
Skills:
Effective oral and written communication skills, understand and execute oral and written instructions; ability to work with minimal supervision and organize workload; must have excellent interpersonal and customer service skills, be able to listen, understand and analyze problems.

Pay: $35,566.00 - $47,421.00 per year
