Membership Representative

We have an opening for a Membership Representative I to work in the MISSIONARY MEDICAL Department for our Membership Team.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

In collaboration with other team members to administer our missionary and mission president plans, this position is specifically responsible for handling all Missionary Medical plans (SSMP, CAMA, Young Missionary, Mission President) regarding enrollment, insurance and HIPAA updates. This includes handling incoming phone calls to resolve Membership related issues for each of the plans. This position pays $22.79 an hour.

• Detail-oriented with strong quantitative skills and problem-solving abilities

• Self-motivated, self-directed, and accountable, with a passion for excellence
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and programs
• High School graduate or equivalent

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Strong healthcare operations knowledge (transactional processing, enrollment, medical management, customer service, COB policy, and plan design)
• Experience working with the Church Activity Medical Assistance plan
• Associates or Bachelor's degree
• Previous working knowledge of health insurance plans/products in Missionary Medical
• Intermediate knowledge of Excel
• Clear understanding of Medicare impact with senior missionaries and enrollment
• Member Enrollment, insurance and HIPAA understanding and processing
• Thorough understanding and competency in Amisys and Workflow
• Phone call expertise in customer service
