Description:
Under the direction of the department supervisor cleans and sanitizes indoor and outdoor restaurant facilities and other areas as directed. Work schedule for this position will be Thursday – Monday 5am -11 am. Other hours may be required based on events or needs. The employee must be able to work extra hours and may include overtime.
Duties and Responsibilities:
General Duties
- Clean kitchen including equipment such as, fryers, brick ovens, stovetops. *
- Clean hoods with degreaser and polish. *
- Clean all kitchen mats and scrub with degreaser. *
- Hose down patio and wipe down furniture. *
- Clean and drain Ice machine. *
- Clean and wipe down dishwasher. *
- Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, and vacuuming. *
- Steam clean or shampoo carpets as needed. *
- Strip, seal, finish and polish floors as directed. *
- Clean, polish, and/or dust furniture, fixtures, walls, machines and equipment. *
- Clean windows and mirrors. *
- Gather and empty trash and trash containers. *
- Service, clean, and supply restrooms. *
- Mix water and detergents in containers to prepare cleaning solutions, according to specifications. *
- Use appropriate chemicals in areas as directed. *
- Use power operated equipment as needed. *
- Perform all other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
- Able to effectively work with a team of other cleaning attendants.
- Possess strong attention to detail.
- Work efficiently with minimal supervision.
Language Ability:
- Oral and written communication skills. Ability?to read, interpret, and comprehend documents in English.
- Excellent relationship management and interpersonal skills.
Math Ability:
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts for mixing chemicals. Ability to apply concepts of basic math.
Reasoning ability:
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
- Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
Computer Skills:
- Microsoft Outlook
- Inova Payroll for Timekeeping
Education/Experience:
- High School diploma, GED, or equivalent preferred.
- 1-3 years of relevant janitorial experience.
Equipment:
- Telephone
- Mobile phone with HCMTOGO time clock application
- Time clock

- Adaptable/flexible; able to manage competing demands and changing priorities in a fast-paced environment, perform multiple tasks simultaneously, accept and handle regular interruptions.
