Responsibilities
The Special Education Teacher is responsible to implement all Desert Choice Schools/LEARN Behavioral Program Components with integrity as well as oversee behavior technicians’ implementation of these components:
Qualifications
- Active and valid Special Education K-12 Cross Categorical, or mild/moderate teaching certificate issued by the AZ Department of Education
- Bachelor's degree minimum
- Teaching experience with elementary, middle, and/or high school students
- Experience working with emotional and/or behaviorally challenged students preferred
- Arizona state IVP fingerprint card
