What are the responsibilities and job description for the Property Manager position at Desert Oasis Mobile Home Park?
We are recruiting for a full-time on-site manager position available immediately for our 55 age, 100 space mobile home and RV community in Desert Hot Springs California. We are looking for someone friendly and self motivated. Previous property management experience is required with a preference for past work in mobile home and RV communities. A welcoming personality.
A summary of duties is as follows:
General park administration: Mobile home and RV rent collection, basic rental accounting, space rentals, qualifying future residents, handling rental contracts, handling resident requests, ability to call and work with vendors. In addition, be capable of enforcing rule violations and rent delinquencies.
Maintenance: Manager has full accountability for the overall maintenance and custodial functions of the property. Have an active working knowledge of the following systems in order to work with vendors: electrical, plumbing, gas, septic. Should be familiar with pool\spa maintenance and general repair of other systems.
Perform daily inspections of community grounds to ensure compliance with company standards. Patrol property and report on safety and security concerns to senior management. Coordinate with government and insurance agencies as required.
Applicants should be mechanically inclined and physically capable of performing onsite maintenance. Must be dependable, organized, detail oriented and able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Must be willing to learn. Valid driver’s license required.
Office Skills: Basic computer knowledge such as how to use email, internet web browser, MS Office and WIFI knowledge is a plus. Social Media a plus.
Compensation: Salary commensurate with experience.
