Desert Regional Medical Center is a 385-bed acute-care hospital classified as a stroke receiving center and level I trauma facility with an innovative, patient centered and evidence-based Rehabilitation Services Department. Our compassionate team provides a wide range of inpatient and outpatient services, including acute care rehabilitation, joint replacement & spinal surgery, neurosurgery, ICU, Telemetry, step-down care, skilled nursing, as well as outpatient therapy, hand and lymphedema clinics.
GENERAL DUTIES:
The Clinical Operations Representative (COR) facilitates the daily allocation of nursing personnel, utilizing general staffing guidelines (as approved by Nursing Directors) and knowledge of personnel’s skill level. The position coordinates additional activities centrally located in the Nursing Office and promotes and maintains a professional image through contact with the public. The COR will also facilitate patient admissions and transfers throughout the facility working in Cerner, PBAR, RightBed and the Hospital ADT system. They will assist in applying the appropriate room accommodation codes, and communicate any problems immediately to the Transfer Center Coordinator or House Supervisor.
