In this full-time Account Manager and Snow Manager position, your employment will be consistent and reliable all year. We will offer opportunities and challenges and you will work closely with our managers, staff, and clients to maintain high quality landscapes. You will create and maintain “evergreen relationships” by working with customers (in both snow and landscaping) to give them the assistance they need, value they expect, and making sure they are happy with the full package of professional services we provide.
The manager will prioritize communication with customers and staff and will monitor all services and time/material spent to ensure that services are completed as promised to the customer and as estimated by Design Works. Sales will also be a part of this role as we seek to provide additional quality services that help with upkeep, maintain function, and elevate beauty to our properties (aka Enhancement Sales). We expect that the manager will understand, care about and translate high quality pruning methods, plant health care, garden maintenance, lighting, seasonal enhancements and other specialties into the field. We expect that the manager will help us go beyond the standard maintenance offerings (mowing, cleanups, etc) and provide our customers with the best opportunity to have the whole kit and caboodle done by just one quality contractor.
The manager will also play an important role in managing snow territories in the southern NH area.
Some of the Requirements:
- Snow removal experience. This position will require managing snow and being involved with snow removal, salting events, etc.
- Proven management and customer relations experience
- Previous landscaping, construction experience or experience in relevant field
- Physical requirements: sometimes does involve physical work in the heat, the cold, working around machines, etc. and may require heavy lifting, shoveling, etc. Generally, the summer management position is more of a management position, but physical work is expected as needed.
- Self-driven and guided, highly willing, responsible, dependable, ethical, and believes himself/herself to be a great quality leader
- Use of LMN Estimating and Time Tracking Software and other standard computer programs
- Expected to use good communication through phone calls, texts, etc. and has great writing skills.
- Can adapt well to change and the high demands of customers and daily job requirements (changes in schedule, scope, processes and procedures, weather, equipment malfunctions, etc.).
- Ability to drive frequently (valid driver’s license) and efficiently from site to site to check on staff, customers, etc.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $65,000.00 – $80,000.00 per year
