Looking for interior design procurement specialist to work with a small interior design
studio. This role leads in developing relationships with vendors and shipping companies
to make the procurement, delivery and installation process seamless.
Responsibilities:
- Ordering furniture, accessories, rugs and samples for project (Completing purchase
orders from information given by designers) .
- Tracking packages and orders
- Maintaining and updating Status Sheet weekly
- Scheduling deliveries to project sites
- Scheduling and coordinating installations (Providing designers with check list of
items and schedule for delivery times)
- Coordinating with receiver on items that have arrived.
- Returns for damaged and defective items
- Setting up new vendor accounts
Education:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
Skills:
- Must be proficient in Microsoft office (Word, Excel and Outlook).
- Must submit Resume and/or letters of recommendation
This is a hybrid working position with flexible hours.
- 10-15 hours a week
- Pay negotiable
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 15 – 20 per week
