Job Summary
We invite you to join a legacy 100 years in the making. Sorensen’s Cafe, nestled in the beautiful Sierras, has been serving up delicious food and creative drinks for all of Hope Valley’s travelers.
General Accountabilities
- Serves drinks while maintaining a clean and sanitary bar area.
- Prepares and maintains ingredients by following recipes.
- Adheres to proper alcohol handling, sanitation, and safety procedures, and maintains appropriate dating, labeling, and rotation of all beverage items.
- Coordinates daily supply inventory for bar and submits orders to supervisor; assists with receipt of deliveries.
- Ensures smooth operation of restaurant services during absence of supervisor.
- *Ensuring all opening and closing procedures are completed *Knowledge of proper cash handling procedures
Job Qualifications

*In-depth knowledge of wine, spirits, and different types of cuisines *5 years of bartending *Highly developed interpersonal skills *Ability to multitask *Working knowledge of point-of-sale systems *High level of stamina to work to work on feet for extended periods *Must be 21and over *Must have a California food handlers card *Can lift up to 25 pounds unassisted

Available shifts and compensation: We have available shifts all days of the week. Compensation is $16.00 - $18.00/hour.
