Description
1: RCNA that is able to assist with Restorative therapy activities and adequately document progress of residents.
2: RCNA should have special knowledge, skills, and techniques in a therapeutic way as planned by the Restorative Nurse.
3: Restorative CNA will assist with obtaining weights for residents with lift scales, roll on scales, and standing scales.
4: Plan of cares that the RCNA will assist with is to increase a residents independence with transfers, ambulation, bed mobility,
feeding and range of motion.
5: RCNA is responsible for assisting residents recover physically and emotionally after a decline.
6: RCNA needs to be able to work the floor and provide direct resident care at times.
