Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Dental Office Manager to oversee the daily operations of our dental clinic. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a comprehensive understanding of both dental and medical office management. This role is crucial in ensuring that our practice runs smoothly, providing high-quality patient care while managing administrative tasks effectively.

Duties

  • Manage the overall operations of the dental office, ensuring compliance with health regulations and standards.
  • Supervise and train staff, fostering a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and professional growth.
  • Oversee budgeting and fiscal management, including monitoring expenses and optimizing resource allocation.
  • Coordinate patient scheduling, ensuring efficient use of time and resources while maintaining high levels of patient satisfaction.
  • Implement and maintain office policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Handle billing, private and public insurance claims processing, and accounts receivable to ensure timely payments.
  • Maintain accurate patient records in compliance with privacy regulations.
  • Collaborate with dental professionals to support clinical operations and improve patient care services.

Skills

  • Proven experience in office management within a dental clinic or similar medical environment.
  • Strong background in budgeting and fiscal management, with the ability to analyze financial reports.
  • Excellent supervisory skills, capable of leading a diverse team effectively.
  • Knowledge of medical administrative support functions, including scheduling, billing, and insurance processes.
  • Familiarity with Dentrix Ascend dental software systems for managing patient records and appointments.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail to ensure accuracy in all tasks.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with patients and staff alike.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $27.00 - $30.00 per hour
