Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Obstetrics/Gynecology Physician located in Detroit, MI. The primary responsibilities include providing high-quality, patient-centered medical care in obstetrics and gynecology, performing routine and complex diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, managing prenatal, labor, and postnatal care, and evaluating and treating a variety of gynecological conditions. Collaboration with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care is essential in this role. Physicians will also participate in quality improvement initiatives and maintain thorough documentation of patient interactions and care plans.
Qualifications
- Board certification or eligibility in Obstetrics and Gynecology is required
- Licensed to practice medicine in the state of Michigan is required
- Completion of Obstetrics/Gynecology residency is required
- Strong clinical skills in obstetric and gynecological care, including advanced diagnostic and therapeutic procedure proficiency
- Excellent patient communication, empathy, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with other medical professionals and support staff
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities
- Commitment to patient safety, quality improvement, and continuing medical education
