We are looking for an experienced Backend Developer who is passionate about building scalable, secure, and high-performing systems for educational applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs for the kids learning app.
• Collaborate with frontend developers, designers, and product managers to deliver seamless features.
• Implement user authentication, secure data storage, and parental control modules.
• Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Integrate third-party services such as payment gateways, push notifications, and analytics.
• Ensure data privacy and compliance with COPPA, GDPR, and other relevant regulations.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
• Conduct code reviews, troubleshoot issues, and provide timely fixes.
  
  

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 2–5 years of experience as a Backend Developer.
• Proficiency in backend technologies such as Node.js, Python (Django/Flask), Java, or Ruby on Rails.
• Strong experience with RESTful APIs and GraphQL.
• Knowledge of database systems (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
• Experience with security best practices for children-focused apps.
• Understanding of microservices architecture and scalable backend design.
  
  

Preferred Skills

• Experience working on EdTech applications or children’s digital products.
• Familiarity with real-time features (chat, live classes, collaborative activities).
• Knowledge of gamification mechanics in app development.
