What You'll Do
The Parts Sales Manager is expected to develop, set up & implement Aftermarket/ Parts' short/ mid/ long term sales direction/strategy through data reporting and analysis. This position requires driving key parts sales & marketing activities to further develop the DEVELON brand and increase Parts revenue within the dealer/ national network
1) Sales Analysis & Strategy
- Review and analyze sales/ revenue vs. target
- Find out ways how to tackle, and catch up with the differences between sales target & sales results
- Work cross-functionally to set up & execute catch-up plan
- Actively set up & execute short, mid & long-term plan
- Lead & execute key projects/ marketing/ sales activities that will lead to additional revenue in the parts business
2) Marketing/ Sales Activities
- Develop overall marketing & sales plan/ schedule/ activities and execute them on time, with quality, and within budget
- Will be coordinated with related teams to advance the activities
- Lead communication schedule and leverage appropriate channels for effective messaging
- Create target sales program plans and execute them; this includes OEM and aftermarket programs
- Measure the effectiveness of programs and recommend adjustments for improved future impact
3) Dealer Management
- Develop and manage the sales to dealers monthly
- Manage day-to-day interest, plans and goals of the Company in the dealer/ national network
- Develop a relationship with the dealer organization embodying mutual trust and respect
- Communicate the needs of the customers and dealers to the appropriate department within the Company who are responsible for follow-up action
- Develop annual dealer plans that maximize on the market potential and realization of these plans
4) Dealer Communication and Accountability
- Hold monthly/ quarterly Sales/Action Plan meetings with core dealers
- Present related data and competitive trends
- Review sales data and dealer action plans monthly/ quarterly with dealer principal
- Display assertive implementation of Action Plan items
- Conduct dealer training & promotion
- Required to put a plan together to either increase a dealer's retail sales when it is below acceptable levels
- Dealer upgrades and investment require strong negotiation and persuasive skills

What You'll Need to Be Successful
- Bachelor's Degree - Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering or related fields
- Construction Equipment parts knowledge helpful
- Business/ Sales capability: Understanding of complex, matrixed organizations & Experience leading projects, executing promotion & sales activities in a construction equipment environment
- Comfortable in situations where presentations are required to communicate strategic direction to dealers/ national accounts
- Experience with commercial marketing/ sales/ territory management
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Over 10 years of experience required.
- Travel required: up to 30%
