Skills Trainer- Part-time

- Wanting to work part-time Monday - Friday, hours primarily from 9:00 am to 3:30 pm, no evenings or weekends

- Enjoy meaningful work advocating for and training people with disabilities in basic social and daily living skills to achieve greater independence.
- Work with great co-workers in a supportive environment - current Skills Trainers have been with us on average 5 plus years

- Pay starts at $12.50 per hour and a Benefits Package includes:

JOB PURPOSE: Skills trainers are responsible for ensuring that individuals in the LIFE program receive skill development in the following areas Self-care, Receptive and Expressive Language, Learning, Gross and Fine Motor Development, Self-Direction, Capacity for Independent Living, and Economic Self - Sufficiency. The expectation is for Trainers "To assist individuals who have a disability or who are disadvantaged to recognize and to achieve their chosen level of economic and social independence" and "Do the right thing."
