Requirements for this Direct Support Professional job
To thrive in this role, you'll need a heart full of empathy and a genuine passion for supporting individuals with developmental disabilities. Along with a high school diploma or equivalent, having a current driver's license and a good motor vehicle record is a must, as you'll be providing transportation in a company vehicle. Physical stamina is key, as you'll need to safely assist individuals by standing, pivoting, and transferring up to 75 pounds. Basic computer skills are helpful for documentation purposes.
