Located on a beautiful 10-acre campus in the heart of Scottsdale,

Devereux Arizona’s 24-hour Residential Treatment Center (RTC) has the capacity to serve 52 children. The RTC is a safe, supportive environment that provides various services to youth, from the ages of 7 to 17, who are experiencing emotional, behavioral, or substance abuse challenges. The Campus features dormitories, a therapeutic K-12 day school, food services, medical/nursing, and therapy services. The

Retention and Training Coordinator plays a vital role in supporting the mission of our Residential Treatment Center by ensuring a positive, seamless experience for new employees from initial hire through integration and beyond. This position is responsible for coordinating all aspects of the employee onboarding process, fostering engagement and connection, and developing strategies to improve employee satisfaction and retention. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working in a behavioral health or child welfare settings, excellent organizational and communication skills, and the ability to build strong relationships across departments. This role requires a proactive approach to employee engagement, a focus on continuous improvement, and the ability to thrive in a fast paced, dynamic, team-oriented environment.

Pay Salary Range: $52,936 - $58,229.60

Schedule: Monday 9am-5pm, Tuesday 11am-7pm, Wednesday 9am-5pm, Thursday 11am-7pm, and Friday 9am-5pm (subject to change)

Qualifications

Must be 21 years of age or older High School Diploma or GED and four years related experience required; OR, Associate (AA) degree and two years’ related experience required; OR, bachelor’s degree and one-year related experience required One (1) year supervisory or leadership experience required; one (1) year Devereux supervisory or leadership experience preferred (internal staff)

OTHER:

Must be available to attend two (2) weeks of new hire orientation (paid, Mon-Fri 8:30am-5pm) plus 2-3 weeks of on the job training
