Parts Advisor

DeVivo Collision Centers currently has an opening for a full-time Parts Advisor at our body shop location in Middletown, CT. The Parts Advisor will be responsible for providing expert advice and support to our customers, ensuring they receive the right parts and services for their vehicles. Your role will involve working closely with our body shop and fleet team, managing parts inventory and delivering outstanding customer service for fleet maintenance and the body shop.

Primary Responsibilities

• Assist technicians in identifying and selecting the appropriate parts for their vehicles.
• Provide accurate and timely estimates for parts and services.
• Manage parts inventory, including ordering, receiving, and stocking parts.
• Coordinate with the body shop team to ensure timely and efficient delivery service.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of automotive parts and industry trends.
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues or concerns promptly.
• Process orders and transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Ensure a clean and organized work environment.
  
  

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional automotive training or certification is a plus.
• Proven experience as a parts advisor or in a similar role within the automotive industry.
• Strong knowledge of automotive parts and systems.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Proficiency in using automotive parts catalogs and inventory management systems.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Valid driver's license.
