Job Description:
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites for UI, API, BE/microservices, and contract testing across Agile teams.
- Execute in-sprint, build verification, and regression tests using scalable automation frameworks.
- Identify opportunities and implement solutions for automation in test setup, data preparation, and environment configuration.
- Evaluate and adopt testing tools for functional and non-functional testing (e.g., accessibility, performance, metrics).
- Perform cross-browser and cross-device testing to ensure consistent functionality and usability.
- Develop virtualized environments and manage staging of test cases and test data.
- Collaborate with product owners and developers during backlog refinement to ensure user story completeness and accurate effort estimation.
- Integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, ensuring smooth and frequent deployments.
- Request and manage test data requirements via coordination with the Center of Excellence (CoE) team.
- Maintain test scripts and frameworks in version control systems (e.g., Git) and report issues using tools such as JIRA.
Required Qualifications
- 5 years of experience in software test automation and quality engineering.
- Proven expertise in Java, JavaScript, Python, or similar programming languages for test automation.
- Strong experience with Salesforce and Mulesoft testing practices.
- Solid understanding of Agile/SAFe methodologies, including ceremonies and incremental delivery practices.
- Hands-on experience with automation tools such as Selenium, Postman, REST Assured, Cucumber, JUnit/TestNG.
- Familiarity with contract testing, API testing, and behavior-driven development (BDD).
- Working knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, especially Jenkins, and related DevOps tools.
- Experience with test virtualization, mocking, and test environment management.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with non-functional testing tools for accessibility, performance, and security.
- Familiarity with test data management tools and practices.
- ISTQB, Certified SAFe Practitioner, or other Agile-related certifications.
