Job Description

Dewberry is currently seeking a Land Development Project Engineer in our Greenwood Village or Louisville, CO office. This position requires at least 5 years of relevant experience in civil engineering and land development including: design of grading, storm water management, drainage design and reports, soil erosion & sediment control plans and reports, public and private roadways horizontal and vertical designs, “wet” utility design and coordination with design team professionals successfully delivering; residential, commercial, retail, institutional and recreational facilities.

Dewberry offers a comprehensive and very competitive package of insurance programs to regular full-time employees and their eligible dependents the first of the month following their date of hire. The insurance package includes: medical, dental, vision, and supplemental life. Additional insurances, at no cost to the employee: life (employee only), accidental death and dismemberment, business travel and accident, and short- and long-term disability are also provided. Required Skills & Required Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering is required.
  • PE license required.
  • 5 years of land development engineering experience.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil3D.
  • Strong written and interpersonal communication skill.
  • Desire to work in a team environment.
  • Drainage Design and Report experience.
  • Utility Design experience.
  • Experience with Roadway Design.
  • Excellent technical writing.
  • Proficiency in Mass, Overlot and Detailed Grading Design.

The projected range for this position is $81,725 - $105,075 annually. Depending upon other factors, i.e., skills, experience, location, market conditions, the range may vary slightly.

 

Must have a valid driver’s license, good driving record and ability to pass a driving record background check.
