Our experts can coordinate all of the details, including customs clearance and country-specific regulations.
We are seeking a Logistics Coordinator to join our team in San Diego.
JOB SUMMARY:
The Logistics Coordinator should be able to ensure efficient and cost-effective supply chain operations. Responsible for making sure supplies, stock, materials, packages, and/or products are processed through the delivery and/or warehouse system efficiently and safely.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Responsible for the activities associated with the transportation of products from suppliers into the network.
· Optimize and maintain daily transport scheduling in the most efficient way for customer and stakeholders.
· Maintain proper and accurate Pre-Shipment and Post-shipment Administration.
· Coordinate with internal customers for requests and complete required paperwork.
· Coordinate with Local Move department shipment deliveries.
· Process and submit internal billing invoices.
REQUIRED SKILLS / ABILITIES:
· Highly effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
· Interpersonal and relationship building skills
· Functional knowledge in Supply Chain, Logistics or Freight
· Deadline-oriented
· Problem solving skills
· Continuous Improvement mindset.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
· High School Diploma or Equivalent
· 2-4 years of experience in related field
· Import/Export experience a plus
· Software skills; 3–5 years Excel Experience a plus
· Working knowledge of Cargo Wise a plus
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
· Must be able to lift up to 20 lbs.
· Must be able to sit, stand or bend for extended periods of time
