We have an outstanding career opportunity for a Customs Operations Supervisor in our Indianapolis, Indiana facility. As a Customs Operations Supervisor you will be responsible for leading a team of customs entry processors that complete customs entry documentation into our system for our customers. Key Responsibilities:
- Leads, directs, and coordinates a team of Customs Operations Specialists/Customs Entry Processors performing the customs entries and support of customs entries in daily operations
- Manages team productivity and develops initiatives for efficiency improvements
- Identifies training needs and opportunities to develop a highly skilled Customs Operations Team
- Supports in KPI achievements by monitoring and driving performance and evaluating Customs Operations Specialist team members; ensures all work assigned to department/team is completed in a timely & efficient manner
- Handles escalations effectively (e.g. dispute with internal/external customers)
- Interacts with Customer Service, Product, and Global Service Centers, if required
Skills / Requirements:
- Demonstrated leadership ability to include driving KPIs, employee engagement, and team building
- Strong ability to develop, coach, train, and mentor staff to success
- Strong knowledge of customs requirements and operational processing of customs brokerage activities
- High degree of written, verbal, and organizational skills; including strong attention to detail and proficient decision making skills
- Proficient experience with MS Office products (Outlook, Word, Excel, Power point)
- Customer Brokerage License preferred but not required
Pay Range: $72.525,00 - $96.700,00 (Based on Experience)
