Description
Diablo Country Club is looking for a part time/ temporary, Events Assistant who can assist our Event Director with administrative event related functions at the club. This position will be part time, 20 hours a week until October/ November and can be considered for further employment depending on future events.
Job Duties include:
1. Checks voicemails & emails and returns in a timely manner.
2. Creates menu cards & buffet cards on Canva
3. Facilitates details associated with private and Club functions including but not limited to printing of menus, procuring of decorations, entertainment and other special requests, etc.
4. Handwrite & Send out Thank you cards for all Private Events that occur at the club
5. Maintains past and potential event files; schedules calls or visits for the Event Coordinator
6. Use ReserveCloud to keep Event Orders (EOs) current with changing information
7. Create Room Diagrams using Social Tables
8. Facilitates all events billing in coordination with the Event Coordinator, banquet captains and accounting office.
9. Manages Catering Binder and ensures all team members have updated information and counts for upcoming events
Requirements
We are looking for someone who is detail orientated, organized, self starter, hard working and who is proficient with Excel.
Knowledge with Canva or other related design program a plus.
At minimum, 1 year experience with event planning or banquet planning knowledge.
Salary : $20 - $22
