DiaMedical USA is a fast-growing medical equipment distributor looking to fill a temporary Service Coordinator position in our Farmington Hills, MI office. The Service Coordinator will be responsible for organizing, quoting and overseeing on-site installation of medical equipment. They will work closely with DiaMedical account managers, contracted biomedical technicians, office staff and customers to ensure DiaMedical provides a seamless installation service.
Key Responsibilities and other duties as assigned:
- Utilize DiaMedicals national network of service technicians to schedule installations
- Closely monitor product shipments and delivery dates
- Collaborate with the service and sales teams to ensure timely delivery of products or scheduling of service appointments
- Provide outstanding customer service to our clients with a focus on instructional medical equipment installation
- Respond to customer inquiries through various support routes, including inbound and outbound calls, email etc.
- Manage technical pre- and post-sales support calls, from initial contact to issue resolution
- Follow-up with technicians and customer upon completion of project to ensure all products were installed without damage
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Education:
- Minimum Associate's degree in Business, Supply Chain, or a related field and 1 year of relevant experience, or the equivalent of 3 years combination of education and experience.
Skills and Experience:
- Excellent organization and scheduling skills. Previous work in project scheduling or coordination highly desired.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite including strong competency with Excel.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to effectively listen and respond to provide professional customer service
- Detailed oriented and works with a high degree of accuracy.
- Problem solving ability to handle potentially complex situations.
