Tractor Assembler
Day Shift M-Thurs 6:00am-4:30pm
The Tractor Assembler reports to the Production Supervisor and is responsible for the following results:
Tractor mounts are accurately assembled in a timely manner.
1. Assembly of hydraulic and electrical systems.
2. Manipulates and positions heavy objects using overhead hoists.
3. Reports critical obstacles to the Day Assembly Lead for planning purposes.
4. Inspects mounts for damage, verifies dimensions and clearance of mounts for conformance to factory specifications.
5. Replaces or repairs worn or damaged parts.
6. Welds body or frame parts as needed.

A high quality product, free from defects, is produced to the high standards of Diamond Mowers.
1. Follows installation processes and procedures.
2. Mounts and/or repairs are completed accurately every time.
3. Follows and meets final quality control procedure.

Orders are efficiently and effectively assembled in all phases including mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical system assembly.
1. Learns all products and builds quickly and consistently in their entirety including assembly.
2. Focuses on details and demonstrates efficient time management at all times.
3. Reports critical obstacles to Day Assembly Lead for planning purposes.
4. Completes all assigned tasks thoroughly and efficiently.

Tractor and Mower services are completed on time to the high standards of Diamond Mowers and customer expectations.
1. Inspects incoming equipment to determine repairs and/or maintenance for completion.
2. Reports to the Day Assembly Lead the parts necessary to make repairs.
3. Repairs, replaces or modifies broken parts to ensure tractors and mowers are returned to functional use.
4. Completes services on tractors to include all filters, fluids, and mechanical functions.

Working environment is maintained to ensure safety of all Diamond Mowers employees.
1. Ensures proper lifting techniques; including proper hoist usage, asking for assistance, or any other measure to ensure safe lifting techniques are completed.
2. Keeps neat and clean work environment.
3. Wears proper safety gear where required; i.e. safety glasses and steel toed boots.

Focus on working in a team driven atmosphere is maintained to ensure overall success of Diamond Mowers.
1. Communicates effectively with coworkers and management of other divisions.
2. Assists other divisions with production needs when necessary.
3. Learns all aspects of Diamond Mowers’ product line continuously.
4. Maintains great attendance to ensure production plans are met and individual accountability.
Skills:
1. Forklift Certified
2. Ability to communicate effectively with DM coworkers, vendors and customers
3. Physical job requirements for 10-hour shift
4. Stand or walk majority of shift
5. Reach with arms and hands
6. Climb or balance
7. Stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl
8. Ability to lift, pull, push 50 lbs.
9. Safely use hand and power tools
