Associate Product Manager - Industrial Coatings

Diamond Vogel has a newly created, full-time Associate Product Manager position available. The Associate Product Manager is responsible for executing product strategies and plans to deliver overall company strategy and goals. The Associate Product Manager executes product plans and activities of key products throughout their lifecycles.

Accountabilities will include, but are not limited to the following:

· Assisting the Product Manager in defining the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for cross-functional business partners

· Assisting in gathering, managing, and prioritizing customer insights

· Assisting with market analysis and competitive research in determining product line gaps

· Assisting the Product Manager in leading the Product Development Team in developing new products and improving existing products, assisting with business case development

· Sharing product knowledge and acumen to support training and sales development

· Processing and sharing monthly reports which inform the Product Manager of KPI updates applicable to the product portfolio

· Developing key brand and product dashboards to communicate business results and variances

Skills, Qualifications, and Education:

· Three or more years of experience in a product-oriented industry, possessing a process manufacturing background is preferred

· Must possess a BA or BS Degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (experience can offset a degree)

· Exhibits strong leadership qualities, able to lead and influence others with a diligent change management mindset, has the capability to develop a general manager mindset

· Shows efficiency with time management skills, has the ability to lead, direct, and manage a cross-functional team of non-direct reports

· Organized and efficient at handling multiple tasks simultaneously; possesses excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

· Shows fluency in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, and Zoom

· Must be able to travel up to 15% of the time, must have a valid driver’s license
