Machine Operator - Aerosol

Diamond Vogel has an opening for a 1st shift full-time position in their Aerosol Plant in Menomonee Falls, WI. Job duties will involve the safe and efficient operation of machines used for the manufacture of aerosol paints. This is a fast-paced work environment and requires operators have a high degree of attentiveness and the ability to react quickly.

Job responsibilities include:

· Advocate and practice the principals of Safety program

· Operate paint making control systems

· Operate manufacturing equipment such as HSD’s, pumps and valves

· Operate packaging equipment such as robotics, filling machines, case packers, labelers, etc.

· Monitor quality or product in manufacturing and packaging areas to include OTMIS (off the mill in spec), cycles, fill levels, package appearance, fill weights, and raw material certificate of analysis

· Read and follow instructions in all areas of the production floor, manufacturing, packaging, shipping, receiving, etc.

· Participate in housekeeping activities that are indicative of a safe and clutter free work environment

· Report any quality issues to supervisor or Quality Assurance lab personnel

This position requires accuracy & detail, and a lifting requirement of 50 lbs. Must be able to work in a team-oriented atmosphere. An understanding of equipment & any production process experiences is helpful. On-the-job training will help develop the specific skills needed.

1st shift runs Monday thru Thursday 5:00 am to 3:30 pm with overtime on Fridays.
