Dickinson Wright seeks a transactional associate to join its Corporate, M&A, and Private Equity Practice Group in Seattle. This position offers a unique opportunity for professional growth and meaningful mentorship within a supportive team environment.
Beyond demonstrating intellectual agility and a strong sense of ownership over projects, qualified applicants will also possess:
- An active license to practice law in the State of Washington or the ability to waive in;
- 2-3 years of experience working on a wide range of transactions, including entity formation, venture capital and other forms of financing, governance, and general business counseling;
- Recent experience as a law firm associate in public and private company mergers, acquisitions, and other strategic transactions in a private law firm setting;
- Superior academic credentials, strong law firm experience, and polished verbal, written, and interpersonal skills; and
- Strong communication and legal research skills, coupled with the ability to work effectively across teams and with diverse stakeholders, including clients, transaction counterparts, and subject matter experts.
The anticipated salary range for this position is $160,000 to $240,000. Please note that a variety of factors determine compensation, including geographic location, experience, relevant degrees and certifications, and other applicable factors authorized by law. This position also qualifies for an annual merit-based bonus.
