Warehouse Associate

Dieffenbach’s Potato Chips, a leading manufacturer of kettle cooked potato chips! We are growing and looking for a Warehouse Associate who wants to grow with us. Dieffenbach’s is a third-generation family-owned business. We have 2 state-of-the-art production plants with on-site manufacturing, packaging, and fulfillment. As a Warehouse Associate at Dieffenbach’s, you will play a crucial role in the efficient and accurate handling, storage, and shipment of products. You will work closely with team members and supervisors to maintain a safe and organized warehouse environment.

Responsibilities:

• Receiving and Unloading:
  1. Unload incoming shipments of raw materials, packaging supplies, and finished goods.
  2. Verify the accuracy of shipment contents against purchase orders and packing lists.

Inventory Management:

• Maintain accurate records of inventory levels.
  1. Conduct regular cycle counts and report discrepancies.
  2. Organize and store materials in designated areas, ensuring proper rotation.

Order Fulfillment:

• Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment according to customer requirements.
• Ensure that orders are accurate and meet quality standards. –

Shipping:

• Load outgoing shipments onto trucks.
• Prepare shipping documents and labels.
• Coordinate with logistics partners to schedule pickups.

Warehouse Maintenance:

• Keep the warehouse clean and organized.
• Perform routine inspections of equipment and report any maintenance needs.
• Follow safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.

Team Collaboration:

• Work effectively with team members and supervisors.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to process improvement initiatives.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous warehouse experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment (certification is a plus).
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 lbs).
• Basic computer skills for inventory management systems.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends if/when needed
