We are actively hiring for the position of Embriody Operator for our plant in Wallington, CT
Shift: 1st Shift (6:30 AM to 3:00 PM)
Duties & Responsibilities
- Operate single and multi-head embroidery machines efficiently and safely.
- Consistently achieve productivity and quality targets.
- Understand and follow standard operating procedures within the department.
- Verify the accuracy of order and decoration details.
- Ensure the quality of the finished decorated product.
- Handle design placement, hooping, and thread color selection.
- Maintain high productivity and quality, meeting or exceeding established goals.
- Adjust machines and perform routine maintenance as necessary.
- Keep the work area clean and organized while adhering to safety practices.
- Perform other departmental tasks as assigned by the Supervisor.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Light manufacturing or warehouse experience preferred
- Able to stand for long periods using hands and arms
- Work safely with moving machinery
- Proficient in English with strong communication skills
- Detail-oriented, quality-focused team player
- Punctual, with excellent attendance and willingness to work overtime
- Must differentiate colors accurately for product inspection
- Apply common sense and strategic thinking in a fast-paced environment
- Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Manage priorities and workflow efficiently
- Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities with enthusiasm
