What are the responsibilities and job description for the Production Manager position at Digital Room LLC?
The Production Manager is responsible for managing the day to day operations of the department in order to meet business objectives and has overall responsibilities for production, maintenance, quality, safety and other production-related activities. The Production Manager will be accountable for all aspects of the department’s performance, and will ensure that objectives are attained in a cost-effective manner that is consistent with strict quality requirements. This person will also coordinate the production schedule based on the customer requirements, balancing current workload. The production manager will also work closely with executive management to meet all performance goals. He or she will be required to follow any other instructions and to perform any other duties requested by his or her supervisor.
· Manage production operations to ensure that output and quality targets are achieved and general communication of the production schedule is orderly and regular.
· Ensure that all staff are properly trained to perform the duties of their position in a safe, efficient manner
· Control costs of material, direct/indirect labor and equipment in accordance to budget
· Direct and supervise the production employees; coach to improve performance
· Learn, participate and execute continuous improvement efforts
· Assist with the development and execution of production plans
· Conduct performance evaluations for employees providing specific and detailed feedback on their skills and the attainment of their respective goals and objectives
· Use strategic and leadership skills to facilitate employee selection, development, retention, motivation, and strong internal relationships
· Establish a cohesive team between all stake holders and department to meet organizational goals
· Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures
Qualifications
· Three to five years of management responsibility
· Demonstrated success in operations management in a production facility or manufacturing environment
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills for managing people
· Solid work ethic, motivated, flexible, and problem-solver.
· Strong analytical and process management skills
Working conditions
The CAD Production Manager will work in a manufacture environment.
