Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Long-Term Care

Location: Kauai Care Center – Waimea, HI
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Shift: 12-Hour Nights | 36 hrs/week

Position Overview

We are seeking experienced and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to join the team in beautiful Waimea, Hawaii. This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a long-term care setting while enjoying the unique lifestyle and scenery of Kauai.

As an LPN, you will provide essential nursing care, promote resident safety and comfort, and work collaboratively with a dedicated healthcare team to ensure the highest quality of life for residents.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver direct nursing care to residents based on individualized care plans and provider orders
• Monitor and document vital signs, administer medications, and perform treatments as directed
• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs), including mobility, hygiene, and nutrition support
• Observe and promptly report changes in residents’ conditions to supervising nurses or physicians
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in compliance with facility standards
• Adhere to infection control protocols and safety regulations
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure coordinated and effective care
• Provide emotional support and education to residents and families

Requirements

• Active Hawaii LPN license – Required
• 2 years of recent long-term care (LTC) experience – Required
• BCLS certification (AHA) – Required
