JOB TITLE: ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT The Administrative Assistant is responsible for maintaining program records, word processing, document, editing documents, filing, faxing, answering phones, research, expense, and financial reporting. The Administrative assistant is also responsible for managing and coordinating equipment, supplies, and managing inventory. OVERVIEW OF POSITION:· Answer phones, check voicemail messages, and manage online informational requests· Provide a high level of customer service to tenants and visitors· Open mail, scan documents, update the organization spreadsheets· Write and edit documents from letters, client forms, to program reports· Run program activity reports as directed· Maintain files and ensure record keeping is accurate and up to date· Schedule appointments and coordinate meetings· Maintain working relationships with community partners and vendors· Participate in onboarding and trainings for new hires, current employees, and volunteers NECESSARY SKILLS:· Strong computer skills (proficient knowledge of email, Microsoft office: Word, Excel, and Power Point)· Able to multi-task projects and meet deadlines· General knowledge of office management and procedures· Great organizational skills· High degree of familiarity with office equipment· Must be able to work independently as well as a member of the team· Other tasks as assigned by the Program Manager QUALIFICATIONS:· Bachelor’s degree, preferred· High School Diploma or GED required· Minimum of two years’ experience as administrative assistant working in a private or non-profit organization. Salary : $35,000 - $45,000
