Job Summary:
Administrator will be responsible for developing and maintaining a comprehensive SharePoint Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) and managing all aspects of the Microsoft Office SharePoint Server (MOSS) environment. This includes advanced SharePoint administration, technical planning, design, development, and user support to ensure optimal functionality and compliance with security standards.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- SharePoint Development and Administration:
- Develop a comprehensive SharePoint SOP.
- Plan, install, configure, optimize, integrate, and support Enterprise SharePoint systems utilizing SharePoint Portal Server 2016 or higher.
- Design, create, and maintain SharePoint sites for collaboration, document management, content management, and business intelligence.
- Technical Support and Analysis:
- Provide daily administrator support for all SharePoint service environments.
- Act as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for SharePoint functionality, ensuring interoperability between WBAMC and end users.
- Conduct application analysis and assessments to enhance customer effectiveness.
- Project Management and Coordination:
- Serve as the single point of contact for all issues related to SharePoint planning, design, development, testing, implementation, and management.
- Collaborate with WBAMC leadership, Cyber Security, and other stakeholders to ensure compliance with DoD policies and guidelines, including HIPAA.
- Training and Documentation:
- Develop SharePoint training materials and provide ongoing training for site administrators.
- Create and maintain documentation for SharePoint solutions, ensuring it aligns with command policies and is regularly updated.
- Security Management:
- Implement security measures to prevent unauthorized access to SharePoint systems.
- Ensure all data management practices comply with HIPAA guidelines regarding Protected Health Information (PHI) and Personally Identifiable Information (PII).
- Maintenance and Support:
- Provide post-development support for SharePoint solutions, including problem resolution and system maintenance.
- Monitor system vulnerabilities and assist in security hardening and compliance with security standards.
- Availability:
- Be available for guidance and support during evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed to resolve critical issues, typically once per quarter.
- Other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements (Education/Skills/Experience):
- Extensive knowledge and experience in SharePoint administration, specifically with SharePoint Portal Server 2016 or higher.
- Strong understanding of IT concepts, principles, methods, and practices.
- Proficiency in .NET, XML, HTML, and current web hosting and design capabilities.
- Demonstrated experience in security management, including permissions and configuration of SharePoint sites.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to provide clear guidance and training to staff.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to develop corrective procedures based on analysis of failures.
- IAT Level II certified (Security , GSEC, etc.).
- Ability to obtain/maintain Public Trust clearance.
Preferred:
- Previous experience in healthcare or government setting.
- Familiarity with vulnerability management tools such as ACAS, SCAP, and STIGs.
