Machine Operator

We are currently seeking a Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude and a commitment to safety, quality, and efficiency. You’ll be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining production equipment to ensure smooth and consistent production.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare machines for the production cycle
• Set up, operate, and maintain manufacturing machinery
• Work closely with the Maintenance Mechanic and Production Supervisor
• Monitor machine function to ensure high-quality output
• Perform regular inspections and identify defects or inconsistencies
• Segregate scrap or non-conforming materials
• Conduct routine cleaning and lubrication of machinery
• Perform filler cleaning (training provided)
• Troubleshoot minor mechanical issues and adjust settings
• Report major equipment problems to maintenance

Requirements:

• Mechanical aptitude and understanding of basic machine operations
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify quality issues
• Ability to read and follow work instructions and safety procedures
• Basic math skills for measurements and calculations
• Physical ability to lift materials and remain on your feet for long periods
• Capable of working independently and as part of a team
• Effective communication skills (spoken and written)
• Quick problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Comfortable using basic tools for minor repairs
