Job Title: Program Coordinator ( PC) Job Description
Reports to: Director of Residential Services
Location: Dirigo Admin Office, 160 Lisbon, Lewiston, ME 04240, US
Salary Range: $50,000.00 To 65,000.00 Annually
Job Summary:
The Program Coordinator oversees the operational and Logistical as well as supporting the overall the Programs administrative functions of the residential services in client’s homes at Dirigo Support Professionals. PC ensures smooth day-to-day Program operations, employee staffing and scheduling, compliance with daily documentation (HCBS), and employee capacity /training. This role works in close collaboration with the Resident Care Coordinator to ensure that all DSP-ME homes are effectively and efficiently functioning properly from an operational and logistical standpoint.
Key Responsibilities:
- Staff Scheduling: Ensure proper staffing and call out coverage in all homes and assist with filling in during shortages in collaboration with Team Leaders.
- Training & Support: Provide training on systems like Therap and Deputy and ADP ESS for employees, focusing on operational systems and compliance.
- House Oversight: Regularly make random and planned checks on each home’s physical condition, ensuring cleanliness and prompt maintenance.
- Documentation & Compliance: Review daily Therap notes and ensure MAR entries are correctly completed. Ensure staff are compliant with operational procedures, providing training where needed.
- Medication Management: Work closely with the Agency Nurse to ensure medications are properly documented and stored, focusing on compliance with policies and procedures (details and quality are covered Residential Care coordinator).
- Team Leadership Support: Provide operational support as necessary and/or coverage when team leaders are unavailable, ensuring operations run smoothly.
- Crisis Support: Step in during staff shortages or crises to maintain operational stability.
- Collaboration: Ensure operations align with the care needs outlined by the Resident Care Coordinator.
Qualifications:
- Experience in operational and program coordination in residential care.
- Proficiency in scheduling systems (Therap, Deputy).
- Ability to manage training and documentation compliance.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.
- 3-5 years of experience in operations management or a similar role.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Knowledge of HCBS compliance and regulations preferred.
- Proficiency in relevant software applications (e.g., Deputy, Therap).
