A key member of our events team, the Event Technician, Audio Visual plays a crucial role in ensuring that our hospitality clients receive exceptional service and their events are flawlessly executed.
Key Job Responsibilities:
- Equipment Operation: Ensures accurate and timely setup, operation, and breakdown of basic audiovisual equipment.
- Customer Service: Exceeds customer expectations by providing prompt and professional assistance, ensuring client needs are met, and maintaining positive relationships.
- Technical Ability: Troubleshoots and solves technical issues with equipment and software, handles challenges professionally, and stays up-to-date on technical knowledge.
Job Qualifications:
- High School Diploma required; Associate's degree preferred.
- 1 year of customer service or hospitality experience is preferred.
- 1 year of audio-visual experience or equivalent in an educational environment is preferred.
The successful candidate will possess excellent communication skills, be physically capable to lift 50 lbs, and meet the physical demands outlined below.
Work Environment:
The Event Technician, Audio Visual works in a hotel/convention center environment with moderate exposure to outdoor temperatures and to dirt, sand and/or dust. They may work irregular hours and be on-call status including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
