What are the responsibilities and job description for the After School Counselor position at Discovery Child Care Center?
After School Counselors will be responsible for providing a safe environment for students in our care. Throughout the course of a normal day/week, they will be asked to do the following:
- Setup snack
- Homework help
- Organize/execute activities for students
- Communicate with parents
- Clean up at end of the day
Applicants must have prior experience working with children. Great opportunity for Early Childhood Education majors!
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $14.50 - $17.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 4 hour shift
License/Certification:
- First Aid Certification (Preferred)
- CPR Certification (Preferred)
