English Language (EL) Coordinator
Rogue River School District is looking for an English Language (EL) Coordinator.
Requirements: EL endorsement
Hours: .1 FTE; weekly hours will vary based on time of year. Average time expected will be ½ day to 1 day per week.
Salary: see salary schedule of licensed collective bargaining agreement
Expectations: working under the direction of the director of special programs, the EL coordinator’s main responsibilities will include:
- Conducting ELPA screeners
- Conducting ELPA state testing in the spring
- Maintaining/updating EL records
- Maintaining/updating EL handbook
- Collaborating with classroom teachers on EL supports
- Possibly providing EL supports to students
