What are the responsibilities and job description for the Part-Time School Police Officer position at District Wide?
NWLSD seeks a part-time School Police Officer for the district police department. Candidate must have a minimum of 5 years law enforcement experience and be Act 120 certified or equivalent. Experience in a school setting is helpful. 10-month position (late Aug-early June). The position includes day and evening shift assignments at school buildings, student activities, venues, and district events. The successful candidate will be paid $32/hr. Duties include patrolling inside and outside of all district buildings and grounds during school hours and designated after-school events. The ability to interact, develop, and maintain positive relationships with students, staff, and public/visitors is required.
Valid drivers’ license and license history, Criminal History and Child Abuse Clearances required. EOE.
