Job Description

At Diventures, we use our passion and the power of water to impact lives, change the world, and have fun doing it! We are looking for a Marketing & Design Intern to create promotional materials, refine our brand templates, draft customer email newsletters, and support store events.

This role reports to the Chief Marketing Officer and is part of the Store Support (headquarters) team in Omaha. You will collaborate with Store Directors at our 18 locations, providing each with great customer service and marketing support to fill their unique needs.

This is a part-time role requiring 15-20 hours per week. You'll gain real-world experience on projects for our swim and aquatics programs, scuba courses, dive gear, and travel. Desired internship start date is Monday, January 13.

Key Results Areas :

Champion our mission, vision, and values and act as a responsible steward and ambassador of the Diventures brand
Develop new promotional materials or update existing pieces, including program flyers and brochures, in-store posters and signage, event designs, digital ads, and social media and email graphics
Create awesome designs for branded merchandise ranging from stickers and bags to shirts and rashguards
Refine our brand guidelines and make them easier to use and follow by creating new templates in Canva
Partner with local stores to draft exciting content for our email newsletter each month
Support local store teams with community and customer events

Key Attributes of a Successful Marketing & Design Intern :

Design chops : Use your visual skills to make our brand look great and attract new customers. Experience in Adobe Creative Suite and Canva is essential. Share your portfolio and show us what you can do for Diventures.

Attention to detail : Navigate multiple marketing projects with ease, ensuring every detail is accounted for and everything runs smoothly.

Strong communication skills : Write in our brand voice with clarity and impact, ensuring all communications resonate with our audience.

Collaborative team player : Work closely with various departments-including Marketing, Merchandising, and Store Directors-to achieve our shared goals.

Customer focus orientation : Immerse yourself in the customer experience and understand their needs to help create exceptional interactions.
