Pay range: $23 - $26/hr
Hours: Day 5x8-Hour (07:00 - 17:30)

Assignment Duration: 13 weeks
12 hours non-billable orientation
Orientation Schedule: 0740-1640
Required Qualifications:
· Medical Assistant Certificate/Diploma from a DAPIP accredited program OR national certification through AAMA, AMCA, AMT, CCBMA, or MMCI.
· Experience with medical insurance, referral processes, and benefit plans
· 2 years working as an MA in an outpatient clinic or medical office setting
· Experience with CS-Link/Epic
Preferred Qualifications:
· 2 years working as an MA in Internal, Family, Pediatrics, or Primary Care
· Understanding of medical terminology
· Demonstrated ability to prepare patients for examination by performing preliminary physical tests, taking blood pressure, weight, and temperature, and reporting patient history summaries
Job Duties:
· Assist with tracking and monitoring department-specific data
· Explain policies, procedures, or services to patients based on scope of practice
· Set up exam/procedure rooms appropriate to the patient visit needs
· Clean and re-process equipment and supplies following department guidelines
· Process and track referrals and authorizations for various insurance types
· Handle patient/provider correspondence
· Verify patient demographics and insurance information in CS-Link/Epic
