What are the responsibilities and job description for the Consumer Assistant - Production position at Diverse Options, Inc.?
Diverse Options, Inc. is seeking a motivated and team-focused individual with a positive attitude and great communication skills to provide supervision and customized work-related training for individuals working in our production area who have varying abilities. The person selected for this position will focus on empowering the individuals served by our organization to continually improve upon and advance their work-related skills within both a manufacturing environment and a classroom setting.
Qualified individuals will have a high school diploma (or recognized equivalent) and 2 years of experience supporting individuals with varying abilities. Work-related teaching or training experience is preferred. Prior light-assembly, production and/or manufacturing experience is helpful, but not required. This is a full-time position with benefits. Monday – Friday, 40 hours per week. Work hours are 7:30am–4:00pm.

- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Two years of experience working with individuals with intellectual and/or developmental barriers.
- Ability to balance, stretch, crouch, bend, stoop, crawl, walk, kneel, twist, climb, stand, and sit.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to push and pull up to 100 lbs.
- Willing to submit to and pass a caregiver background check.
