DiverseGOV, a division of Diverse Tech Services, is currently seeking an energetic professional to join the DiverseGOV team as a Senior Staffing Specialist. This is an in-office opportunity at our corporate office, located on the northwest side of Indianapolis, IN. This position pays an annual salary up to $75,000 per year.
As the Staffing Services Specialist II, you are an instrumental part of the DiverseGOV team and our continued growth. This role is responsible for providing exemplary service to both employees and customers, uncovering unmet customer needs, and building and strengthening relationships with our customers and employees.
As part of this role, you will be responsible for order fulfillment via creation of effective sourcing strategies, recruitment, client relations, and employee relations. Use your energy and drive to place the most qualified candidates at our client locations to help the DiverseGOV team succeed!
Essential Functions:
• Recruit, source, screen, interview, hire, and assign employees to open positions
• Understand our clients’ industries, work environments, and needs to effectively intake, confirm, and fill open orders
• Develop effective sourcing and screening strategies
• After job acceptance and onboarding paperwork are complete, place employees on assignments in the Applicant Tracking System
• Manage the order lifecycle and meet customer expectations
• Close assignments with the appropriate code and add detailed notes in the Applicant Tracking System when an employee ends an assignment
• Identify new sources for both active and passive candidates
• Answer incoming calls, respond to voicemails, assist candidates and employees as needed, and document any updates in the Applicant Tracking System
• Help process background checks
• Must be flexible to not only recruit, but also perform front office duties as needed
• Proactively communicate and perform issue resolution with customers and Project Services Director regarding status of open order requirements, employee, or service issues
• Investigate, manage, and resolve employee relations and grievance issues in a timely manner for billable employees; escalate to Corporate HR as needed
• Partner with the Project Services Director to develop further business and strengthen relationships with existing customers through quality delivery in accordance with customer needs and expectations
• Protect the interests of the employees and the company in accordance with company policies and governmental laws and regulations
• Keep the Project Services Director informed on progress for full book of business as well as any significant issues that may arise with employees or clients that require assistance
• Meet or exceed designated KPI and FTE requirements
• Support Coordinator and Specialist(s) as the more seasoned individual when Project Services Director is not available, and questions or issues arise

Experience and Skills Requirements:
• High School Diploma or GED
• Three or more years of experience working in the staffing industry or corporate recruitment
• Experience and proficiency with recruitment sourcing tools/engines – CareerBuilder, LinkedIn, etc.
• Must be flexible with job hours
• Excellent interpersonal skills; must be able to interact in a respectful manner with a diverse population of colleagues, clients, and job applicants; leveraging active listening skills and paying attention to cues from reading the audience
• Proven communication skills: able to convey one’s message in a clear, concise and professional manner, considering one’s audience, in all forms of media (i.e., voicemail, phone, email, face-to-face) and handles conflicts and disagreements constructively
• Proficient multi-tasking capabilities; able to prioritize multiple tasks at one time, while remaining compliant with policies and delivering in accordance with deadlines
• Proven problem-solving skills and strong attention to detail; able to identify important aspects of a problem, gather appropriate information, determine potential causes, and specify alternative solutions
• Strong attention to detail; demonstrating attentiveness to all aspects of a task or process, alert and accurate
• Basic/Intermediate computer skills in a Microsoft Windows environment and Microsoft Office software
Experience and Skills Preferred:
• Bachelor’s degree (Preferably in Business or Human Resources) or equivalent work experience in a staffing agency, or corporate recruitment
• Experience and proficiency with job advertisement, design, and placement
