What are the responsibilities and job description for the OSP Construction Manager/Superintendent position at Diversified Solutions, Inc.?
Diversified Solutions, Inc.(DSI), a Local Underground Utility/HDD Drilling Contractor, is looking to hire a OSP Construction Manager/Superintendent for our St. Anthony, ID location. A OSP Construction Manager will handle projects of various complexities and perform site work along with supervisor duties.
Requirements & Qualifications:
- MUST have Valid Drivers license with DOT medical card
- MUST be able to pass drug screen and Background Check
- MUST Be able to Travel in and around the Western Montana Areas
- Must be able to follow instructions.
- Must be able to stoop, kneel, crouch, dig and reach
- Must be able to lift, carry and place heavy objects up to 50lbs
- Minimum of 5 years Previous Field Project Management Experience required
- MUST have Fiber to the Home and/or Rural Area Fiber Project Experience
- Extensive knowledge of Directional Drilling, Fiber Blowing, Fiber Placement required
- Proficient in MS Office applications and laptop use
- Minimum of 5 years Outside Plant Telecom Experience
- STRONG Management Skills for multiple crews each day
- MUST be able to run large scale Fiber to the Home Projects
Responsibilities:
- Manage Directional drill crews, plow crews, drop crews, fiber crews and sub contractors daily
- Manage daily safety/JSA meetings for crews and subs
- Meet with clients, city officials and employees to complete projects on time and budget
- Schedule and attend pre-construction meetings
- Manage and maintain all traffic control for projects
- Daily reporting of all projects being managed
- Tracking and making sure all material is ready and ordered for all projects
- Assist team members in getting project completed
- White line and walk out all projects when assigned
- Maintain and call in all Blue Stake for all projects and Subs
- Maintain all redline/asbuilt drawings for all projects
- Manage time for all crew members on managed projects
- Ensure all ROW and running lines for bore crews, plow crews, hand hole crews
- Manage over 20 employees and subcontractors daily to ensure project production
